Vision insurance (or plans) provides an added wellness benefit for healthy eye exams, which includes routine eye care, prescription eyewear and contact lenses, as well as, other vision services at a reduced cost.
Medical Insurances
Medical insurance are used if you have an eye problem/disease or if any medical condition causing eye problems.
Common conditions include: vision loss, floaters, dry eyes, allergies, infections, among others.
Monitoring cataract development, diabetic exams, patients using medications with potential eye side effects, such as steroid medications, arthritis medications and so on.
Patients that are at high risk for glaucoma development, macular degeneration, or suchlike.
